Paramedic, civilian hurt in SC ambulance crash

The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for making an improper turn

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. — A paramedic and civilian were injured after a vehicle crashed head-on into an ambulance Tuesday.

Officials said a vehicle was pulling out of a road and struck the ambulance head-on. The paramedic and civilian suffered minor injuries, reported WFXG. At the time of the crash, the ambulance was returning to a fire station.

The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for making an improper turn, reported WSPA.

The crash is still under investigation.
