N.C. ambulance crashes through building during heavy rain

No injuries to EMS personnel; heavy damage to structure

ABERDEEN, N.C. — A Moore County ambulance crashed into a building in Carthage during heavy rain Wednesday, authorities said.

The crash accident happened on McReynolds Street, at the corner of Old Glendon Road, about 11:30 a.m.

None of the EMS workers who were in the ambulance was injured. A second ambulance was sent to cover the call missed by the unit that wrecked, officials said.
