Ky. man crashes stolen ambulance into Veterans monument

He also hit several parked cars and an occupied vehicle before police found him crashed into a utility pole

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man was arrested Thursday after police said he stole an ambulance and hit several parked cars, an occupied vehicle which resulted in an injury, and a Veterans monument at the Amvets post before crashing into a Jeep and a utility pole.

The person injured in the occupied vehicle was taken to Audubon Hospital. Workman was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital where he was checked for injuries. He was charged with wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property, operating a vehicle with an expired license and criminal mischief.
