JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The driver of a private ambulance had to be pulled free in an Interstate 95 wreck today that sent a Jacksonville police officer and at least three others to the hospital and closed the ramp to downtown.
At least five vehicles were involved in the late morning accident in the northbound lanes of the interstate, said Sgt. Randall Crews of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
None of the injuries was life-threatening, Crews said.
