FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. — Two EMTs were taken to the hospital after their vehicle hit a slick spot on the road, rolled down a hill and stopped in the creek Tuesday morning.
WOAY reported that the EMTs were responding to a call when their ambulance slid off the road. Both EMTs sustained minor injuries in the crash and were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to the report.
There were no patients inside the ambulance at the time of the crash and the wreck is believed to be weather-related.
The ambulance was towed from the creek and a local volunteer fire department responded to assist with the scene, according to the report.
