2 Chicago medics injured in hit-and-run collision

The two medics were taken to a local hospital for treatment and their injuries are not life-threatening

CHICAGO — Two medics were injured Friday morning when a motorist struck their ambulance and then fled the area on foot.

WLS reported that the car crashed into the Chicago Fire Department ambulance at an intersection and the two suspects in the car took off running.

Police are searching for the suspects, who are believed to be a male and female, according to the report. The two medics were taken to a local hospital for treatment and their injuries are not life-threatening, according to the report.
