MANCHESTER, England — A Wigan paramedic is facing disciplinary action over a joke calendar he made for charity.

Neil Dobson, who works at Wigan Ambulance Station, planned to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance with the booklet featuring work colleagues and friends’ heads grafted on to male model shots.

But the “bit of fun” turned sour, when the doctored images were put on YouTube to test audience reaction before going to print.

It is believed a member of the public complained.

And the 41-year-old, from New Springs, has been told he could receive a final written warning, or even be sacked, for bringing his employers – the North West Ambulance Service into disrepute.

An investigation continues and a disciplinary hearing for Mr Dobson looms.
