Woman become agitated while being transported to the hospital

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Harrisburg woman was arrested after biting an EMS worker. The incident happened early Saturday morning in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. Police say a witness called 911 after seeing 20 year old Janae Driver laying on the floor of a home. The witness said Driver was extremely intoxicated.

According to a news release, while EMTs were trying transport Driver to the hospital, she became agitated and bit one of the EMS workers in the arm.

When Driver arrived at the hospital, she was still combative and refused to cooperate with EMS and Hospital personnel.

Driver is facing multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
