ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Firefighters said it will take longer for rescue crews to get to residents who live in one particular eastside Albuquerque neighborhood.

Albuquerque Fire Department spoke about budget cuts at a City Council meeting.

They said the lack of money is affecting key positions like a rescue unit in Councilman Don Harris’ district, east of Eubank and south of Menaul.
