SACRAMENTO, CA - There was a very special reunion Wednesday night between a Riverbank toddler and several paramedics who saved his life.
Suzana Aguiar of Riverbank had the biggest scare of her life when her 2-year-old son Brenden Hobbs stopped breathing Saturday. Because of a respiratory disorder, Hobbs lived in hospitals off-and-on for months.
“His airway didn’t fully develop when he was born,” Aguiar said. “He had difficulty breathing, and every time he would breathe in, it would collapse.”
