Tenn. medic attacked treating men outside station

The men threw punches at him after approaching the station gate saying one had trouble breathing; the medic met them in a garage because staff members can’t bring subjects inside the building

DICKSON, Tenn. — Dickson police are looking for two subjects who attacked a Dickson County Ambulance Service paramedic after he opened a station door to administer first aid to one of the alleged attackers.

The attack occurred about 7:45 p.m. Nov. 26, the night before Thanksgiving. According to a Dickson Police report, officers responded to a call about the attack at the Dickson County Ambulance Service station on Cowan Road in Dickson.

The paramedic, who asked that his name not be revealed for fear of retaliation, said two white men in their early-to-mid-20s approached him outside of the fence at the station.
