LONDON — A bus driver attacked paramedics who were treating a patient because he did not like the way they parked their ambulance.

Daily Mail reported that a paramedic crew briefly parked the ambulance on double yellow lines when they stopped to treat an elderly patient.

A bus driver, who was apparently angry at how they parked, allegedly pushed one paramedic and verbally abused the other, and another ambulance had to be called to transport the patient to the hospital.

Police arrested the driver and tweeted a photo of the ambulance.

“The crew assaulted whilst treating a seriously ill patient! The crew are shaken and will now not be able to finish their shift, but no serious injury thankfully #ProtectTheProtectors,” the tweet said. “The crew are assisting us with statements and then they will be finished for the day. Both are safe and well thankfully.”
