TWIN CITIES, Minn. — Allina Health EMS will hold the annual Pulse Check Conference Sept. 22 and 23, 2016 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. The Conference welcomes EMS, public safety and healthcare personnel for energizing discussions about emergency care best practices and future trends in systems of care.
“With health care rapidly evolving, there has never been a more exciting time to get together to discuss improving patient care,” Brian LaCroix, President and EMS Chief of Allina Health EMS said. “We’ve got a top-notch faculty, including our keynote speaker Ed Racht, the Chief Medical Officer of American Medical Response, Mike Taigman, a nationally recognized leader in quality management and Janis Amatuzio, author and former Chief Medical Examiner of Anoka County.”
The conference program will explore best practices in both leadership and clinical care. The Leadership Summit on Sept. 22 will examine how health care leaders are innovating to produce better outcomes, create better patient experience and improve overall value. The Clinical Forum on Sept. 23 will cover a variety of topics, including a special session where attendees will have the opportunity to ask a panel of medical directors about current controversies and breakthroughs in out-of-hospital medicine. Continuing education credits are available for both days.
All conference events, including a networking reception following the Leadership Summit, will all be held at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, located 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The resort features a spa, championship golf course and perks including complimentary wi-fi, valet parking, an indoor pool, and an ice rink.
