HONESDALE, Pa. — Three people, including an EMS provider, were charged with stealing drugs from an ambulance in November.
WNEP reported that EMS provider Kathleen Knecht arranged for Heather Widzbell and Jason Mizwinski to steal drugs from her assigned ambulance, according to police.
The three were arrested after a bag of pills was reported missing, and the drugs were recovered from Widzbell’s vehicle.
Investigators said Knecht would tip Widzbell off about where the ambulance would be and when to take the drugs.
The three now face charges of theft and reckless endangerment of another person.
