BOSTON — An EMS crew helped catch a man who was suspected of breaking into a store as he fled from police.
Mass. Live reported that a Boston EMS crew spotted Thien Nguyen, who had fallen off of his bicycle while trying to escape after allegedly breaking into a store.
Police had responded to the scene after an employee at the store sounded the panic alarm.
“Officers observed that the front glass door appeared to have been smashed from the outside and two bricks were present on the sidewalk immediately outside the damaged door,” police said.
The EMS crew kept Nguyen at the scene until officers could arrive to arrest him.
Another man was suspected of breaking into the store with Nguyen, but he got away. Nguyen was charged with breaking and entering and larceny.
