OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — The NAEMSP Board of Directors selected the Los Angeles County Fire Department as the winner of the NAEMSP CPR Video Challenge.

EMS agencies across the nation submitted educational music videos featuring a song to help bystanders maintain the ideal rate for chest compressions and highlight the importance of learning CPR.

NAEMSP received submissions from New York, California, Missouri and Alaska. The agencies used a variety of different songs, including renditions of “Baby Shark” and “Rocky,” but the winner was LACFD’s version of “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake, aptly re-named “Can’t Stop Compressing.”

“All of the videos entered deserved to win,” NAEMSP President David K. Tan said, “but this one really went above and beyond.”
