VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. — Heather Locklear faces a lawsuit after allegedly verbally and physically abusing an EMT who responded to a call at her home.
TMZ reported that EMT Jennifer Hayn-Hiton is suing Locklear, claiming the actress kicked her and injured her enough to where she could not work, according to the lawsuit.
Hayn-Hiton, a single mother, added that Locklear said she wished her children would die of AIDS.
“This has taken a tremendous toll on our client and her children,” Hayn-Hiton’s lawyer, Kevin Flahavan, said. “When Ms. Locklear went to rehab, we had hoped that she would learn about making amends to those she had harmed.”
Flahavan added that Locklear has ignored their attempts to reach out.
“We have reached out to her and she ignored us time and time again,” he said. “It became apparent that Ms. Locklear wasn’t going to accept responsibility for her actions on her own.”
Hayn-Hiton is suing for unspecified damages to pay for medical bills, as well as wages lost.
