DETROIT — Four people have been arrested in connection with the assault and robbery of a Detroit dispatcher last week.
The 60-year-old dispatcher was walking to work when she was approached from behind, punched in the face and thrown to the ground, reported WXYZ. The incident occurred outside a call center’s security gates; surveillance footage captured the attack.
Following the incident, the dispatcher was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police arrested Marquise Goodman and Lathyas Sutton, both 17, in the attack. Two others were also arrested.
“I still have flashbacks of that right now,” the dispatcher said.
The incident has prompted surveillance cameras to be upgraded and an officer will be stationed in the back of the call center building, reported Click On Detroit.
