INDIANAPOLIS — Three EMS providers and a police officer were transported to the hospital after possibly being exposed to fentanyl.
FOX59 reported that the crew responded to a possible overdose call, and the patient, Richard Bryan, possibly spilled fentanyl on the floor of the ambulance while being treated.
Bryan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and criminal recklessness, and the EMS crew, along with a police officer, was transported to the hospital for precautionary measures.
The police officer was released, but details have not been released on the status of the EMS providers.
