LLEQUING, China — Naked bathers were forced to flee for their lives when a bathhouse in Leqing, China, caught fire Thursday, leaving one dead and several injured.
Photos of the incident show that many of the customers had no time to get dressed as the flames spread.
The fire began at a neighbor’s house, but quickly extended to the bathhouse, according to The Daily Mail.
“One minute I was soaking in the tub, the next I could smell smoke and hear screams,” one customer said. “There was no time to get my clothes. I just ran for my life.”
