WARE, Mass. — Living in Ware just got even safer, for those who may need to make that call in a life-threatening situation.
Five of the Ware Fire Department’s firefighter-EMTs recently earned certification as paramedics, more than doubling the amount of staff who have such skills.
It’s a requirement for new firefighters, said Fire Chief Thomas W. Coulombe, but it doesn’t make the job any easier.
