LONGVIEW, Wash. — An ambulance crew had their ambulance — and pizza — stolen last Friday.
Officials reported that Charlene Pratt stole the ambulance while its crew was inside a medical center with a patient.
The stolen ambulance was located via GPS behind an apartment building with only minor damage, reported TDN. AMR Regional Director Rocco Roncarati said Pratt did not activate the ambulance’s lights and sirens.
Witnesses reported Pratt went to an apartment with a Domino’s pizza box that had the name of an AMR employee on it. Pratt denied stealing the ambulance, but admitted that she did take the pizza from the vehicle.
Pratt was arrested and faces charges of motor vehicle theft, second-degree malicious mischief for interfering with EMS, hit-and-run and third-degree theft.
