CHICAGO — Seven people were injured when an ambulance responding to a drive-by shooting was struck by a car in Chicago on Saturday.
A Chicago Fire Department field chief was taken to the hospital, along with two adults and four children, according to The Chicago Tribune.
Their condition was said to be fair to serious. The accident happened when an SUV ran a red light, according to the report.
One man was killed and two teens were hospitalized in the drive-by shooting that prompted the call.
