FLUSHING, N.Y. — A bicyclist died after being struck by an ambulance Wednesday morning.
He was making a left-hand turn onto 37th Avenue when he was struck by a private ambulance driving south on Parsons Blvd. around 9:40 a.m., the NY Post reports.
He was transported to New York Hospital of Queens, where he later died. The man was in his 60’s. His name has not been released pending notification of family members.
The NYPD is investigating the accident.
