HOUSTON, Texas — Deputy constables are not saying who will be cited in crash involving a Cypress Creek EMS ambulance and two other vehicles.
The ambulance was transporting a patient around 11 p.m. Sunday when the crash occurred, ABC reports.
The impact sent the ambulance into a ditch, where it caught fire. The patient was transported to the hospital by another ambulance, and the two EMTs on board were treated on the scene for minor injuries.
The EMS crew said the ambulance’s lights and sirens were activated before the crash occurred, but the drivers of both vehicles involved in the collision said they were not on at the time of the crash.
