NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A private medical ambulance employee was charged in a crash that killed a man Sept. 7.
Dyllan Harrison, 21, who was driving the ambulance, was charged with failure to yield right of way while entering a public highway from private property, reported WAVY.
The crash killed motorcyclist Christopher McDonald, 29, who was hit after colliding with the ambulance as it was pulling out of a gas station.
Police said Harrison was issued a summons for the charge.
No one in the ambulance was injured.
