FALLS CHURCH, Va. — An ambulance crashed into a pole Wednesday morning, injuring four people, including the EMS provider who was driving the ambulance.
The Fairfax County Police Department said all those hurt were inside the ambulance at the time of the crash and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The ambulance was transporting a patient to a hospital when the crash occurred. NBC Washington reported that a car was also involved in the crash, which happened in front of a hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
