RIVERHEAD, N.Y. — Four people, including three volunteer ambulance personnel, were injured in a collision between an ambulance and a car in New York on Wednesday.
Riverhead Town Police said the crash occurred at an intersection as the Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps rig was traveling east and the car was traveling south, according to Patch.com.
Three ambulance crewmembers and the driver of the car were injured and transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment. Police said none of the injuries are life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
