BETHANY, N.Y. — Three firefighters were hurt after a car crashed into an ambulance Saturday night.
WHEC reported that the Bethany Volunteer Fire Company firefighters were driving the ambulance when Syed Rahman, 61, crossed over the center of the road and struck the rig with his vehicle, according to police.
The firefighters were transported to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
Rahman was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is currently under investigation.
