NEWTON COUNTY, Ind. — Three people were injured after an ambulance collided with a pickup truck, which caused the rig to flip, Fox59 reported.
The Riverside Medical Center ambulance had its lights and siren activated when it was struck by the truck, according to police. The ambulance was flipped on to the driver’s side and slid off the road towards a ditch, where it rolled and landed upright on its wheels.
The three occupants of the truck were transported to a nearby hospital with complaints of pain.
No one in the ambulance was harmed.
