BELLE, Mo. — Two Osage Ambulance District EMS providers were injured after the ambulance they were in slid off Highway 28 and flipped onto its side Sunday.
The crew had been responding to a call when they encountered icy roads, the agency said in a Facebook post.
Both EMS providers “were properly restrained and were able to get out on their own,” the post said.
Another crew was dispatched to the original crash scene.
A crew also was sent to the ambulance crash site.
Both responders were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
