CHICAGO — Five people were injured in an ambulance crash in Chicago on Wednesday, including two paramedics and a baby, officials said.
The crash between an ambulance and a car caused occupants to be pinned inside their vehicles, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The car also crashed into a building as a result of the collision, CBS Chicago reported.
Chicago Fire Department officials said all of the injured victims were considered to be in critical condition due to the pin-in nature of the crash, but that it appeared no one suffered life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
