PHILADELPHIA — Two firefighters were injured during a rowhome fire and two paramedics were also injured when their ambulance crashed en route to the scene.
ABC6 reported that the firefighters were helping battle a house blaze when the third floor started to collapse and one firefighter had to be pulled from the building. Both the firefighter who was rescued and a colleague were transported to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Two paramedics, who were en route to the same fire, were injured when their ambulance hit a traffic light and crashed into a post office after colliding with an SUV. The paramedics were treated on scene for their injuries.
While battling the blaze, firefighters found a man dead inside the home.
The fire is currently under investigation.
