Video: Driver falls 70 feet off Wis. interchange ramp, survives
Officials said the driver was conscious and breathing after the pickup truck landed upright on the highway below

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. — A driver was seriously injured after losing control of his vehicle and falling 70 feet from a Wisconsin interchange ramp to the road below on Saturday.
The crash was captured on video by Wisconsin Department of Transportation cameras and appears to show the man's pickup truck hitting a snowbank on the shoulder of I-94 before going over the barrier wall and off the ramp, according to WISN.

The vehicle fell 70 feet onto the I-94 distress lane and landed upright, according to Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office deputies. Two bystanders stopped to help the driver before first responders arrived. The man was conscious and breathing when deputies arrived at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment, officials said.
The man was transported to the hospital by Milwaukee Fire Department personnel, according to the sheriff's office. The driver's sister posted on Facebook that his back, neck and legs were broken in the crash, according to WISN.
