GREENVILLE, N.C. — A Pitt County EMS shift supervisor was charged with unsafe movement after a crash Monday at a bustling intersection, WITN reported.
Police said that the driver of an EMS vehicle, Merredith Lovely, who was responding to a call, did not correctly clear the intersection before going through a red light.
Lovely and the driver of another car in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital.
