BELLVUE, Colo. — A father, driving his pregnant wife to the hospital, crashed the family car and died before seeing his third child’s birth.
Jill Schmucker, 35, was in the family’s Nissan Pathfinder SUV, alongside her husband, Tony, and their two other children.
The family was heading to the hospital for Jill to give birth to their third child in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 13.
