MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS, Pa. — A total of $16,000 was stolen from Yellow Breeches EMS dating back to 2018, the Patriot-News reported Monday.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft.

The agency is already embroiled in another controversy. Yellow Breeches EMS President Douglas Allen Shields, 53, faces sexual assault charges in connection with incidents in 2021 involving a teen girl at the station.

He has since been suspended.
