PANAMA CITY, Fla. — A Florida man was arrested Monday night after allegedly stealing an ambulance from outside a hospital.
The Panama City Police Department put out an alert Monday afternoon requesting the public’s help in locating a Gulf County EMS ambulance that had been stolen outside of Bay Medical Sacred Heart.
Later on Monday, the department reported that the ambulance was located and that Paul Morello, 51, was arrested and charged with grand theft auto and theft of medical equipment.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office and Springfield Police Department assisted in the investigation.
