DOVER, Pa. — A Pennsylvania ambulance service is mourning the loss of an EMT who died after suffering a medical emergency while on duty.
The Dover Area Ambulance Club announced that Kevin Brehm, 60, died on April 9 after experiencing a medical emergency at the station, WHTM reported.
The ambulance service said Brehm’s co-workers quickly recognized the seriousness of the situation and began providing medical care, including moving him into an ambulance.

“Kevin saved many lives over the years and spent countless hours training,” the department said. “He was a mentor to fellow EMTs across the area.”
Multiple departments gathered Thursday night to honor Brehm with a procession from York Hospital through York City.
