It has often popped up in my head of why did I choose to be a medic, firefighter, educator or any role in my profession. In this video, I will present my own personal thoughts and beliefs of my own reasoning to answer that question.
They are my own beliefs not meant to offend anyone but instead to possibly help you to wrap your head around this very question.
Jon Puryear, NREMT-P, has been active in EMS since 1983. He has been an active paramedic since 1992 including being an educator and Field Training Officer for several employers. The live online classes are taught in a virtual instructor-led online live classroom, which allows the student to participate in “real time.” These classes may be taken from any computer or iPad/Apple TV with internet access and no travel is required.
