GRAND SALINE, Texas — A Grand Saline EMT was arrested late last week on a child pornography charge.
According to Van Zandt County Sheriff Lindsey Ray, Bobby Reed Mooring of Grand Saline was arrested on one count of possession of child pornography. He posted a $25,000 bond and was released on Sunday. People working nearby say the Texas Rangers and District Attorney’s office showed up, explained what they were doing and took Mooring into custody on Friday afternoon.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the Texas Rangers began investigating Mooring when someone contacted them, stating that Mooring “had a travel trailer with child pornography inside.” Court documents state that person told authorities he couldn’t meet with them about the allegations “because Mooring had arrested him and he had a pending case filed against him.”
