COLUMBUS, Ga. — A suspected construction worker was seen lying on what appears to be a narrow section of scaffolding or possibly a ladder that is suspended partially underneath the 13th Street bridge.
He appears to be about 50 feet in the air with two EMS workers suspended on ropes attending to the man, who is on a back board and appears to be going in and out of consciousness, at times screaming out in pain.
EMS workers are trying to get the man into a stabilized platform to lift him to the bridge.
