Echo Response Technologies LLC recently launched the Echo Responder, a customizable app providing tactical intelligence to first responders in the field.
The app was specifically designed to meet the needs of field firefighters, and is customizable for all emergency agencies. Echo Responder utilizes touch-screen navigation and formats contacts so they can be dialed with a single touch. Responders can also view addresses on an interactive map and utilize turn-by-turn directions.
Responders can receive real-time dispatch instructions, search for the closest fire hydrants, view real-time responding unit locations, and view information about members stored in their agency’s Echo Responder database. Users can also review dispatch assignments, see the nature and address of the call, and update their unit’s status.
After the incident has been resolved, users can retrieve graphical analytics, maintain personnel records, and view response statistics.
Echo Responder integrates with most Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) solutions. The app is compatible with iPhone and Android smartphones, as well as the iPad, mobile tablets, and standard computers.
