QA Process Focuses on the Quality and Reliability of Robust, Mature Products

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - ZOLL Data Systems™, announced the latest release, version 3.8, of RescueNet™ Dispatch and RescueNet Billing. Both solutions have been helping EMS organizations streamline dispatch/call-taking and billing processes for nearly 10 years, allowing them to cut response times; reduce receivables; improve cash flow; and comply with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations. These new versions contain enhancements that demonstrate ZOLL Data Systems’ ability to add critical features and address customer needs, which lead to more robust products.

“We are very proud of our success with RescueNet Dispatch and RescueNet Billing, and will continue to add new features and enhancements to maintain best-in-class value. There is always room for improvement, even with these solid products, especially with regard to quality and reliability,” said Vane Clayton, President of ZOLL Data Systems.

The latest dispatch features enable users, especially in emergency situations, to manage calls faster than ever before. A new command line module keeps dispatchers’ hands on the keyboard at all times, allowing for rapid input. Combined with a new, more intuitive and targeted interface for the emergency call-taking module, along with caller queue and

nature-of-call features, dispatchers/call takers can respond faster to incoming calls during busy times, maintaining good customer service and managing appropriate response priorities.

The key enhancement in this version for billing processes is the new scheduled

batch-processing module, which automates the printing of forms and generates electronic submissions scheduled to run, for example, overnight when more system resources are available. Combined with many other features, including improved complaint searching and company-specific schedule options, RescueNet Billing can provide EMS organizations with optimal claims processing.

“ZOLL Data Systems continues to listen to its customers, incorporating their prioritized feature enhancements into our robust RescueNet Billing and Dispatch products,” Mr. Clayton continued. “As we shared with our customers at our annual user’s conference (Summit) in May, we are highly dedicated to constant quality improvements, and we have optimized our development procedures to assure customer satisfaction as the leader in integrated operational software solutions for the EMS industry. Our recent releases of RescueNet Billing and RescueNet Dispatch signify the use of this stringent development and quality process.”
