AMREL upgrades ROCKY rugged laptop
More memory, faster speeds and sharper graphics mean EMS can better manage more data while in the field
American Reliance revealed major upgrades to its ROCKY RK10 15-inch laptop.
“It’s really a rugged laptop for the 21st century,” said AMREL Vice President of Operations Kalvin Chen. “Modern applications, such as video streaming, are very data heavy.”
New features include a powerful i7 processor, improved storage, expanded memory and enhanced connectivity. Specific features include an Intel Sandy Bridge i7-2610UE, 16GB of memory up from 4GB, an Intel HD Graphics 300 card, and USB 3.0 ports.

The RK platform is independently certified for MIL-STD 810 and IP65 with a MIL-STD 461 option is available, according to the company.
