EMS1 Announces Formation of Editorial Advisory Board

National EMS leaders to provide expert guidance

SAN FRANCISCO — EMS1.com, a leading online resource for EMS personnel, is excited to introduce the charter members of its newly formed Editorial Advisory Board. Comprised of national industry leaders in EMS, the Board will provide expert guidance and creative supportive to EMS1’s exclusive features, columns, and online content.

The Editorial Advisory Board will work closely with EMS1 editors and columnists in order to provide a high-level overview of EMS1 content, focusing on the accuracy, legitimacy and utility of crucial information and resources made available to EMTs and paramedics on EMS1.

The following are the charter members of the EMS1 Editorial Advisory Board:

Bryan E. Bledsoe
Bryan E. Bledsoe is an emergency physician, paramedic and EMS educator, and principal author of the Brady paramedic textbooks. He has more than 20 years publishing experience and has more than 900,000 books in print.

Robert Donovan
Robert Donovan is an emergency physician working at a busy Level II Trauma Center in California’s Central Valley. He is currently the medical director of PHI California, chief of staff, and still works full-time in the ER.

David Givot
David Givot created TheLegalGuardian.com, a first step to improving the state of EMS through information and education. He has traveled the country working with distressed EMS agencies and recently earned his law degree in Los Angeles.

Kelly Grayson
Kelly Grayson is a critical care paramedic in Louisiana. He has spent the past 14 years as a field paramedic, critical care transport paramedic, field supervisor and educator. Kelly is the author of the book, “En Route: A Paramedic’s Stories of Life, Death, and Everything In Between.”

Arthur Hsieh
Arthur Hsieh is the Director of Education and Chief Executive Officer of the San Francisco Paramedic Association. Beginning in 1982, Art’s career has taken him to both coasts of the United States, spending time in both the private and public sector EMS systems.

Mike McEvoy
Mike McEvoy is the EMS coordinator for Saratoga County and the EMS director on the Board of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs. Mike is a published author and popular speaker at fire, EMS and medical conferences.

Robert Waddell
Robert (Bob) K. Waddell II has been involved in EMS for over 30 years, working as a volunteer EMT in rural Wyoming, a paramedic in the Front Range of Colorado, state training coordinator for Colorado, and founder of an international health education corporation.
