KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Easy-going. Self-reliant. A friend to all.
These qualities were used to describe Chad McDaniel, a Midget car driver from Concordia, Kan., who died early Saturday from injuries sustained in a crash late Friday at Knoxville Raceway.
“He helped anybody that needed help,” his father, Eugene McDaniel, said. “Spectacular person.”
