In this episode, co-hosts Chris Cebollero and Kelly Grayson discuss the newly formed American Paramedic Association (APA). Recently, the APA developed a position paper that sets a vision for the future of paramedicine.
The APA was developed secondary to the position papers that were put out by various organizations regarding paramedic degree requirements. Members of the APA do not feel these organizations have considered paramedics’ thoughts and opinions on the matter to heart and decided to develop a movement that focuses on their voices.
