MADRID, Spain — Video of a K-9 performing CPR on a police officer in Spain has gone viral.
According to Newsweek, the Municipal Police of Madrid posted video of the K-9 showcasing his life-saving skills on social media. In the video, a police officer pretends to suffer a medical emergency and collapses.
K-9 Poncho is seen in the video running over to the seemingly lifeless officer. Poncho then jumps repeatedly on the officer’s chest and nestles his head on the officer’s neck as if he were checking his pulse.
Madrid police praised Poncho for not hesitating to “save” the officer’s life.
