St John Ambulance is expanding its fleet of vehicles especially designed to carry obese patients, it announced today.
A new specially-designed ambulance, capable of transporting particularly large patients, is set to start work in Suffolk in a matter of weeks.
The ambulance is an upgrade of an earlier model which is already operated by the charity’s transport team in the county.
